The ‘Genevieve’ Dress
Genevieve is a seventies inspired beauty made from ex-designer deadstock fabric that is an incredible woven mixture of silk and cotton in the most vibrant and striking paisley print in vibrant autumnal colours. Genevieve has some beautiful details, partly inspired by a vintage dress I once found in a charity shop, with a wide purple lace waist (carefully sewn on) which ties at the back with purple satin ribbon, red velvet cuffs, an olive green neckline and purple lace on the hem of her statement frill.
Genevieve also has pockets and an adjustable waist that ties for the perfect comfortable yet flattering fit. Such a vibrant beauty of a dress, perfect for day with boots and night with heels or party flats.
Size and fit: Genevieve is true to size, and fastens with a long zip at the back. She is fitted at the shoulders with a looser waist that adjusts with ribbon ties to fit. Sleeves are three quarter length but can be full length upon request. Length is 126cm from centre back to hem and I am 165cm tall. Longer or shorter lengths available.
